By creating an account on OrbitVerse, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the platform. These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you and OrbitVerse Holdings, validly formed as an electronic contract in accordance with the Nigerian Electronic Transactions Act.
OrbitVerse operates its payment, escrow, and wallet services in alignment with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Regulation on Electronic Payments 2014 and subsequent CBN guidelines on e-payment channels.
These Terms are also designed to align with: the Consumer Protection Council (CPC) Act 2004; the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act (FCCPA) 2019; the Electronic Transactions Act; and, for cross-border transactions within West Africa, the ECOWAS Trade Liberalisation Scheme (ETLS).
OrbitVerse is a verified marketplace platform that provides:
You must be at least 18 years old to use OrbitVerse. By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and that you have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts.
When a buyer places an order, payment is held in escrow by OrbitVerse. Funds are released to the seller only when:
Either party may raise a dispute before escrow is released. OrbitVerse will review evidence from both parties and resolve the dispute within 48 hours. Our decision is final. The losing party will receive a TrustScore penalty.
Refunds from cancelled or disputed orders are credited to the buyer's OrbitWallet within 24 hours of resolution.
The OrbitWallet is a stored-value account within the OrbitVerse platform. It is not a bank account and is not insured by any government deposit scheme.
A 0.5% cashback is credited to the buyer's wallet on every successfully completed order.
TrustScore is OrbitVerse's proprietary reputation system. It is calculated based on order completions, reviews, dispute outcomes, delivery performance, and verification status. TrustScore is not transferable and cannot be purchased. OrbitVerse reserves the right to adjust TrustScore in response to platform abuse.

Violations may result in immediate account suspension, wallet freeze, and referral to relevant authorities.
OrbitVerse, OrbitMart, OrbitTrade, OrbitVerify, OrbitWallet, OrbitMarket Hubs, and TrustScore are trademarks of OrbitVerse Holdings. You may not use these marks without written permission.
Sellers are solely responsible for declaring their income from OrbitVerse sales to the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) or the relevant tax authority in their jurisdiction. OrbitVerse is not a tax agent and does not withhold income tax on behalf of sellers.
OrbitVerse complies with the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) recommendations on anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing (AML/CFT).
Cross-border transactions on OrbitVerse are subject to the applicable import and export laws of the buyer's and seller's respective countries.
OrbitVerse acts as an intermediary between buyers and sellers. We are not responsible for:
Our maximum liability to any user in any calendar month is limited to the total fees paid by that user to OrbitVerse in that month.
You agree to indemnify OrbitVerse against any claims, damages, or costs arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the platform.
OrbitVerse will not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of government or regulatory bodies, changes in law or regulatory action, network or internet outages, payment rail or banking system failures, natural disasters, civil unrest, or pandemics.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes arising from these Terms shall first be addressed through OrbitVerse's internal dispute resolution process. Unresolved disputes shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, Cap A18, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004, with the seat of arbitration in Lagos State, Nigeria, except where mandatory local law requires otherwise.
Nothing in this section limits a consumer's rights to lodge a complaint with the Consumer Protection Council or the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission.
These Terms, together with any policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and OrbitVerse Holdings regarding your use of the platform, and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
No failure or delay by OrbitVerse in exercising any right under these Terms will operate as a waiver of that right, nor will any single or partial exercise of a right preclude any other or further exercise of that right.
We will notify you of material changes via email and in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
