1. Overview

OrbitVerse respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects sellers to do the same. This Intellectual Property Policy explains how to report infringing listings and how sellers can contest a takedown.

2. Reporting Infringement

If you believe a listing on OrbitVerse infringes your copyright, trademark, or involves a counterfeit product, email ip@orbitverse.africa with:

  • A link to the listing
  • A description of the right being infringed
  • Proof of ownership of the right (e.g. trademark registration, copyright certificate)
  • Your contact details

3. Takedown Process

Reports are reviewed within 48 hours of submission. If the report is substantiated, the listing is removed and the seller is notified of the reason. Sellers with removed listings receive a strike on their account.

4. Repeat Infringer Policy

A seller account that accumulates three substantiated infringement reports will be permanently terminated. This applies regardless of the time elapsed between reports.

5. Counter-Notification

If you believe your listing was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification to ip@orbitverse.africa with evidence that you hold the right to sell the item. We will review counter-notifications within 5 business days and reinstate the listing if warranted.
